I’m Leslie Napper, a video and film editor with a BFA in Cinematic Arts and a minor in Asian Studies. I’m drawn to shaping narrative through editing, focusing on rhythm, emotion, and structure to bring a story to life. My work blends pacing, visual language, and tone to create pieces that feel intentional and engaging.

I’ve worked across agency, network, and independent projects, adapting to different creative voices while maintaining a strong editorial perspective. My background in filmmaking and photography continues to influence how I approach post-production, from composition to storytelling choices.

I edit in English, Spanish, and Japanese, and I can speak Japanese (日本語は話すことができます).

I’m currently available for freelance editing, production support, and creative collaboration.

I’m based between Baltimore, MD and Brooklyn, NY, and available to travel throughout the East Coast.
